He was predeceased by: his parents, Ercel Edgar (Marie Vaughan) and Clara Marie Vaughan (Baggett); his son Ralph Vaughan; and his sister Nelevene Nita Terry. He is survived by: his wife Janet Vaughan; his children, Michael Vaughan (Tracye) of Midland, Vicki Vaughan Conklin of Lubbock and Kelly Vaughan (Dee) of Midland; his stepchildren, Greg Thompson, Randy Thompson (Joann) and Tracy Johnson (Bryce); and his siblings, Pat Vaughan (Barbara) of El Cajon, Gary Vaughan (late Beverly) of Brisbane and Jimmy Vaughan (Sherry) of Abilene. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
