He was predeceased by: his parents, Miguel Sierra and Carmen Zavalas; his wife Tommie Sierra; and his siblings, Paul Sierra, Adam Sierra, Juanita Sevilla, Lupe Medina and Eva Leija.
He is survived by: his children, Angie Aguillon (Efrain Aguillon), Mike Sierra (Irma Sierra), Virginia Sierra, Susie Sierra, Robert Sierra Jr. and Cristina Medina (John Medina); his sister Mary Lou Cristan; and his grandchildren, Bobby, Jason, Danny, Michael, Clarissa, Vanessa, Jennifer, Valerie, Amanda, Connie, Carliegh of Esmeralda, BJ and Armando. He is also survived by 19 great grandchildren and numerous friends.
