He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Hepitasio Perea and Maria Luisa Solis; his sister Fransisca Perea; his wife Heladia Garcia Perea; and his children, Roel Perea, Refugio Perea, Jr., Eliseo Perea, Esther Santos, Idalia Ledezma, Miriam Benitez and Alma Aguirre. He was also cherished by twenty-nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
