She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Dolphus Albert Gantt, Sr. and Loreene Gantt of Virginia; her siblings, Lois Gantt, Joyce Higgins and Dolphus Gantt, Jr.; her husband William Don Hickson; her siblings, Floyd Gantt (Shanon Gantt), Mary Ashton (Perry Ashton) and Loreene Roberts; her daughter Traci Cowart (Mark Cowart); her stepchildren, Terri Martin (Shane Taft) and Denny Hickson (Tammy Hickson); her adoptive son Jeff Larson; her grandchildren, James Cowart (Brianna Cowart), Ashlyn Cowart, Jansen Cowart, Khane Taft, Knoxx Taft, Justin Stanley, Ashley Tackett and Christian Hickson; her great grandchildren, Grayson Cowart, Elaina Hickson, Adrian Diaz, Tommy St. Clair and Aubri Wilson; and also, Dolphus Gantt Sr. and Loreene Gantt. She was also cherished by many cousins, nieces and nephews and friends.
