He was predeceased by: his wife Ramona Vasquez (Cecil); and his parents, Saturnino Vasquez and Julia Vasquez (Toscano). He is survived by: his siblings, Daniel Vasquez and Angie Wright; his uncle Joseph Louis Vasquez; and his aunts, Josephine Gonzalez, Petra "Pat" Collins, Janie Bustos, Esther Gonzales and Nellie Contreras.
