She was predeceased by: her parents, Lois Marie Reese and George Oliver Ploch Sr.; and her siblings, Mary Snyder, Florence Watts and Brady Ploch.

She is survived by: her significant other R. J. Shepherd Jr.; her children, R. J. Shepherd III (Roxanne) and Natana Marie Gerling (David); her grandchildren, Genevieve Isabella Gerling, Josiah David Gerling, Jayden Marie Shepherd, Kelsey Grace Fulps, Isaac James Kupper and Kinlee Sunshine Kupper; and her siblings, Quentin Ploch, Faith Wright, Martha Orlaski and George Ploch Jr..
