He was predeceased by: his wife Peggy Peters; his brother Wayne Peters; and his son Kevin Garcia. He is survived by: his daughters, Cherri Ligon (Brian) and Patti Andrews (Craig); his grandchildren, Melissa, Joshua, Eric and Zachary; his great grandchildren, Marco, Sage, Maisie and Wade; his mother Elizabeth Hamblin; and his brothers, Earl Peters and Joe Peters (Frannie).
