We are sad to announce that on October 7, 2023, at the age of 87, James Morgan Elmore (Balch Springs, Texas), born in Shamrock, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Elmore and LeeOra Hale Elmore; his wife Gay Sanders Elmore; his grandson Shaun Elmore; and his brother Donald Elmore.

He is survived by: his children, Eddie Elmore (Renee) and Paula Grinstead (John); his grandchildren, Brock Elmore, Brooke Elmore, Pamela Furtch (Keon), Paige Elmore, Phillip Grinstead, Mackenzie Grinstead, Kara Mills and Courtney Mathews (Chris); and his brother Addis Elmore. He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
