It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harlin E. Veasey (Balch Springs, Texas), born in Franklin, Texas, who passed away on December 7, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Coy Veasey and Jessie Veasey; his brother Vannoy; his great grandchild Logan Stewart; and his wife Rose E. Veasey.

He is survived by: his children, Michael Harlin Veasey, Melinda Fancher, Jeff Farris and Julie Morris; and his sister Virginia Joyner (Tommy). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

“Harlin was a great friend. He was in charge of the Security Department for Ford Motor Company Parts Distribution Center in Dallas, TX and I headed the Security Department at the Detroit Parts Distribution Center in Redford, Michigan. I will always remember the visits and good times we had together when we met at the various Security and Safety Conferences the Company sent us too throughout the country. He will always be remembered by me. May "God Bless" him and his family Larry Kurtsel”
