He was predeceased by: his father Larry Akin. He is survived by: his mother Darleyne Stephens; his siblings, Debra Guerin, Larry Akin, Nia Akin, William Akin and Kristi Akin; his daughter Jessika Akin; his grandson Karson Akin; his aunt Sue Perez; and his cousin Randy Kelly. He is also survived by several other cousins, aunts, uncles and many nieces and nephews.
