She was predeceased by: her parents, Murl Bales and Etta Mae Bales (Latimer); her husband John Thomas Chittum; her son Johnny Chittum; and her siblings, Charles Bales and Noma Bales.
She is survived by: her sons, James Chittum of Baird and Justin Chittum (Karma) of Abilene; her grandchildren, Amber Hardin (Cody) of Granbury and T. J. Chittum of Baird; and her great grandchild Johnny Lee Hardin.
