With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruby Juanita Rawson of Baird, Texas, who passed away on June 15, 2020 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Swafford and Lillie Ann Brashear Swafford; her husband Merton Spatcher "Stan" Rawson; her children, Marjorie Ann "Margie" Goodfellow Palmer and Eddie Curtis; and her siblings, Carlos Jay Swafford, Alvin Raymond "Pete" Swafford, Leonard Weldon Swafford, Leon "Hoot" Swafford and Flora Carlene Swafford Gibbs.

She is survived by: her sister Katie J Swafford Dunn; and her grandchildren, Leslie Bosen (Wendell), Brent Palmer of Las Cruces, NM, Josh Curtis (Nicole) of Georgetown and Meredith McMillian of Georgetown. She is also survived by five great grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
