He is survived by: his wife Patricia Austin of Baird; his children, Dennis Austin of Lubbock, Larry Austin of Navasota, Chrystal Whiddon of Baird and Amy Fish of Baird; his grandchildren, Michael Webb (Meagan) of Sherman, Cody Austin of El Paso, Ayla Austin of Benbrook, Courtney Austin of Hamlin, Whitney Austin, Austin Whiddon of Seadrift, Tanner Austin, Trinity, Kalie, Alex and Christian Moore of Abilene; his siblings, Paul Austin (Mary) of Winnemucca, Fred Austin of Clyde and Jeannie Riley of Cleveland; his siblings-in-law, Butch Mitchell (Judy) of Graham, Colleena Shriver (Clifford) of Baird, Laverne Mason (Jerry) of Baird, Gail Norvell of Las Cruces and Ray Davis, Jr. of Alamogordo; and his friends, Ronnie, Susie and Tony Diaz.
