Margaret Abernathy Obituary

She was predeceased by: her husband Benjamin Abernathy; her mother Alma Mitchell; her stepfather C. D. Mitchell; her father Pat Murphy; her sisters, Darlene Fagen and Cathryn Allen; and her stepbrother Charles Mitchell.

She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Abernathy (Marlene) of Chengdu and Kathy Craig of Round Rock; her grandchildren, Joshua Smith of Baird, TX, Mason Abernathy of Tawakoni, TX and Morgan Abernathy of Sydney Australia; her stepsister Jean Tatum of Houston, TX; her nieces, Sherry Rogers and Sandy Clingan; and her nephew Charles Allen. She is also survived by many cousins and wonderful friends.

She was surrounded by her grandson Josh, who so graciously took great care of her during her final years with Alzheimer's and dear friend Polly Beeler.
