It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lorraine Myrtle Berenz of Baird, Texas, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on January 31, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Meyer and Lorreta Johnson (Bichler); her husband Henry John Berenz; her brother James; and her sister-in-law Mary Kramer.
She is survived by: her children, Jon Berenz (Darla Marre), Cherri Melanson of Fenton and Sandy Newton of Trinidad, Colorado; her sister Shirley Tenger (Peter) of Dana Point, California; her grandchildren, Heather Braden, Timothy Braden, Suzanne Flowers, Colten Thompson (Alyssa) and Charlotte Melanson; her great grandchildren, Joshua Parks, Paisley Thompson and Mason Thompson; her great great grandchild Kira Parks; her nephews, Mark Snyder, Kevin Kramer and Garrett Kramer; and her niece Alissa Carlson.
