Linda Hart Obituary
Linda Maxine May Hart of Baird passed away during the early morning hours Monday, December 4, 2023, at the age of 89.
Linda was born December 18, 1933 in Holliday, Texas to Leonard Elton and Jewel Opal Thomas May. She graduated from Megargel High School in 1951, and then graduated with a business degree from Abilene Christian College in 1955. She married Bill Hart August 17, 1956, and the couple was married almost 59 years before he preceded her in death in 2015.
Linda was a loving wife, mom, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a faithful member of the Church of Christ and a member of the 55 Bunch Ladies.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Bill; a son, Charles R. Hart; and a grandson, Justin Hart.
Survivors include her children Cindy Hart Hickerson and husband Jerry, Marilu Hart Hall and husband Bill, and Keith Lee Hart and wife Chris; daughter in law Melanie; grandchildren Kandis Washington, Gregory Ashburn, Jeffrey Ashburn, Jessica Wilson and husband Chris, Morgan Parker and husband Reed, Lauren McLeroy and husband Jace, Shelby Mendez and husband Jesse, Tori Hall, Rebecca Hart and Emalee Hart; 14 great-grandchildren (and another on the way), and many cherished nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 1:00 to 2:00 PM Thursday, December 7, 2023, at Parker-Jacobs Funeral Home, 141 E. 3rd Street in Baird. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM in the Parker-Jacobs Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Ross Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donation to a missionary or children's home of your choice.
