She was predeceased by: her parents, J. C. Welch and Katie Goodrich Welch. She is survived by: her husband Jerry Tate of Baird; her son Bryan Tolliver (Hailey Oaks) of Abilene; her stepdaughter Paula Mikaelsen (Steve) of Seattle; and her brother J. C. Welch, Jr. of Abilene. She is also survived by six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
