Forrest F.L. Burleson Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Forrest F. L. Burleson of Baird, Texas, born in Tuscola, Texas, who passed away on June 27, 2021 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Arthur and Mattie Amelia Burleson (Maschek); his siblings, Clarence A. Burleson, Jr., Nina Burleson Hamilton, Helen Burleson Curtis, Glenda Yeager Ivy and Gene Yeager; his wife Barbara Buckley Burleson; his stepchildren, Dana Smith and Eddie Arkridge; and his daughter Leonna K Adkins.

He is survived by: his children, Terri and Jeff Burleson of Baird; his son-in-law Johnny Adkins of Eula; his grandchildren, John, Melanie Adkins of Baird, Christy, Ramey Burke of McKinney and Kathleen Jenkins of Dallas; and his great grandchildren, Austin R. Adkins, Lilly Kate Burke and Hailey Watson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
