She is survived by: her children, Phillip Mendez of Houston, Jesse Mendez of Baird, Lonnie Keith (Yolanda) of Baird, Michelle Young of Eastland, Bobby Keith of Clyde and Racquell Beck of Baird; her brother Antonio Rios of San Antonio; her grandchildren, Eric Keith (Magen) of Levelland, Savannah Dorris (Noah) of Abilene, Mellissa Killingworth (Patrick) of San Angelo, Julia Pearson (Michael) of Fort Worth, Christi Jordan of Denton, Lisa Keith of Abilene, Alfredo "Bubba" DelaRosa of Lubbock, Sherri Sherrin of Gatesville, Kassie Watts of Eastland, Tiffni Sherrin of Cisco, Chase Sherrin (Chelsea) of Brownwood, Veronica Mendez of Houston, Stephen A. Mendez Sisi Cerda of Baird, Amy Esparza of Abilene, Olivia Esparza of Abilene, Maria Wilson (Derrick) of Atlanta, Josh Mendez (Sara) of Kansas, Mindy Rodriguez (Daniel) of Stephenville, Jesse Mendez, Jr. (Shelby) of Missouri, Levi Mendez of Baird, Adam Mendez of Baird, Dominga Owen (Brandon) of Baird and Teresa Espitia of Baird; and her close friend Mary Easley of Omaha. She is also survived by 66 great grandchildren, many other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bailey-Howard Funeral Home Chapel (105 Oak St, Clyde, TX 79510). A rosary was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Sts. Joachim and Ann Catholic Church (103 Cherry St, Clyde, TX 79510). A burial was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at the Ross Cemetery (Baird, TX 79504).
