Deborah Kay Faircloth Obituary
Deborah Kay Faircloth left this life unexpectedly Saturday, January 4, 2025, at the age of 58 in her home in Baird, Texas.
Deborah was born June 23, 1966, in Abilene, Texas to Irene Faircloth and Eddie Clayton and was adopted by Ray and WilmaFaircloth to be raised as their own. She attended Baird High School and graduated in 1984, and went on to attend Cisco Junior College in Cisco, Texas. Deborah, or Debbie as she was known to most ("Eggie" to a few), lived in Abilene, Texas, for many years working at various places of employment including Hendricks Hospital as a nurse clerk on A5 before returning to care for her father Ray until his passing. During the time after she moved back to Baird, she not only cared for Ray, but also took care of her many fur babies and helped with childcare for her local loved ones.
In any time of need or crisis she was just there, whether it was to lend a hand or even just to let us bend her ear for a while. She had a tender heart and loved everyone, even spending time with an elderly family friend who is very dear. She loved to try her hand at arts and crafts – she wrote poetry, colored, created with plastic canvas and even tried crochet for a while!
Debbie was preceded in death by many loved ones, including her parents Ray and Wilma Faircloth, her sisters Irene Floyd and Kay Faircloth, brother Eddie Dean Clayton, Eddie Clayton and her favorite fur baby Star.
Survivors include Tommy Faircloth (Jackie) of Abilene, Derek Floyd (Jess) of Baird, Leonard Clayton (Erica Green) of Baird, Jim Clayton (Lincoln) of Van, Kevin Clayton (Amy) of Clyde, Ginger Clayton and Lynette Clayton of Baird.
