Beverely Dianne Rogers Obituary
Our loving mother, Beverely D Rogers, left her earthly home on February 27th , 2024 at the age of 71. Mom-Mema was very active in the community of Baird, Albany, and Throckmorton. Mom never met a stranger and had love for us all. She carried a smile even through all the adversities she was facing. She was a devoted Christian, wife, mother, Mema and great Mema and she will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Beverely was born April 13, 1952, in Sweetwater, Texas, to Bobby Martin and Willie O'Rear Martin. She graduated from Abilene High School in 1970. She married the love of her life Marvin L. Rogers on June 26, 1970, in Crescent Heights Baptist Church in Abilene, Texas.
Beverely worked many years in the banking industry and retired from First National Bank of Albany/Breckenridge in December 2013.
Beverely's biggest joy was being around her family and friends. She loved following her grandkids and cheering them on in everything they did. She loved camping and making trips to New Mexico with family and friends. Beverely was a member of the First Baptist Church of Baird where she loved singing in the choir.
Beverely was preceded in death by her husband Marvin L. Rogers and great-grand daughter Novi King.
Survivors include her daughter Tammy King of Throckmorton; her son Matthew and wife Julie of Baird; 4 grand-children, Gage King and wife Kenzie of Throckmorton; Lauren Young and husband Logan of Lubbock; Rylan Rogers of Baird and Hunter Rogers of Baird. 4 great-grandchildren, Heidi King, Mila King, Stella King and Henry Young.
Sister, Kathy Pogue and husband Paul of Sweetwater; Linda Nichols of Merkel and her children Shawn and Heather Nichols; Brother-in-law, Novel R. Rogers Sr. and wife Bonnie of Abilene; Nephews, Novel R, Rogers, Jr. of Dallas and Erick Venski of Kumisu, Japan and 2 great nephews.
Visitation with family for Beverely will be held at Parker-Jacobs Funeral Home on Friday, March 1, 2024, from 12:00 – 2:00 PM. Graveside service will follow at Ross Cemetery in Baird at 2:30 PM, with David Acevedo officiating.
