Mendez of Abilene and Lupe Aguirre (Hector) of Baird; his siblings, Fred Mendez of Baird, Sepy Mendez of Baird, John Mendez of Baird, Antonio Rios of San Antonio and Delores Keith of Baird; his granddaughters, Erica Ray of Baird and Amanda Reynolds (Wes) of Baird; and his great grandchildren, Tyler Dean Ray, Kaleb Andrew Ray, Luke Trynton Reynolds, Bentley Dwight Reynolds and Mia Blayke Reynolds.
