She was predeceased by: her parents, Julian Owen Russell and Clara Magnolia Enterkin Russell; her son Russell Curtis Posey; her husbands, Curtis Lee Posey, Jr. and Arthur L. Nelson, Sr.; and her son-in-law James Don Blackwell.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lisa Posey Cash (Cecil) and Catherine Posey Blackwell; and her grandchildren, Chad Cash (Liz), Melissa Cash Schumacher (Randal), Mishay Cash, Marissa Cash Martin (Josh), Lindsay Sherwood Sheets (Cody), Ryan Cash (Brittany) and Shane Sherwood. She is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren, two sisters and one brother.
