Viola Elizabeth Gilmore Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 14, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Viola Elizabeth Gilmore of Azle, Texas. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Viola may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Viola touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Adam L. Lindsey and Ester Irene Lindsey (Shannon); her husband Raymond "Red" Gilmore; and her siblings, Jean Sparks, Adrian "Bud" Lindsey and Mary Ellen Fuller.
She is survived by: her children, Lizabeth Gilmore and Gary Lynn Gilmore; her foster daughter Melinda Ann Cecil Duncan; and her granddaughter Ashely Amber Day (Landon).
A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Alexander's Midway Chapel (3607 E Hwy 199, Springtown, TX 76082).
