He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul E. Davis and Geneieve Tate Davis; and his great grandchildren, Alexander Gentry and Hayden Strickland. He is survived by: his wife Betty Jo Davis of Arlington; his children, Ralph Davis (Diane) of Burleson, Texas, Paula Railsback (Gerald) of Azle, Texas, Laura Davis McClain (Dianne) of Quito, Ecuador and Debra Davis (Lynn) of Granbury, Texas; and his stepson Jason Torres (Lisa) of Lipan, Texas.. He is also survived by four grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, in memory of Truman "Paul" Davis, an organization that builds adaptive smart homes for injured veterans and first responders as well as eradicate veteran homelessness.
