He was predeceased by: his parents, R. G. Ford (Boots) and Dorthy Jones Ford; and his siblings, Faye Dugan, Frances Bennett and Floyd Ford (Bub).
He is survived by: his wife Shella Moore Ford; his children, Darrell Ford (Tracie) of Azle and Kimberly Abbott of Azle; his sisters, Elaine Hearn of Grand Saline, Peggy Kirkpatrick of Fort Worth, Diann Cole of Cottondale and Pearl Martin of Azle; his grandchildren, T. J. Ford, Toby Ford, Hanna Abbott, Noah Abbott, Hayden Steedman and Nicole Steedman; and his great grandchild Swade McKinley Ford.
