He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Paul Harper and Mary Luna Harper; his brother Phil Harper; his wife Sandra Morris Harper of Weatherford; his sisters, Loretta Mattix of Banes and Jane Slade of Bowie, Texas; his sons, Robbie Harper (Amy) and Rodney Harper (Shana); his stepdaughter Angel Mendes (Scott) of Weatherford, Texas; and his grandchildren, Chase Harper, Rusty Clower, Kaden Mendes, Jeanette Harper, Jorden Mendes and Kolten Mendes.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the Scottish Rite Children's Hospital.
