She was predeceased by: her parents, Herschel E. Scott and Grace Taylor Scott; her brothers, Carl Scott and Herschel T. Scott; and her daughter Janie Newsome (Bill Newsome).
She is survived by: her husband Bobby Boyd; her sons, Joe Boyd (Anna) of Ovilla and Jeff Boyd of Azle; her granddaughter Allyssa McLemore (Ryan) of Waxahachie; and her great grandchild Lawson Scott McLemore. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations to the Azle Hospital Auxiliary.
