He was predeceased by: his father Robert Mason Gunn Sr.; his wife Mamie Gunn; his son Randolph Mason Gunn; his mother Olga Louise Myers Gunn; and his stepfather Springfield.
He is survived by: his daughters, Enola Heard, Cindy Rose (Wesley) and Melissa Hays (Brad); his grandchildren, Christopher Freeman, Lacey Robertus, David Admire, Jeffrey Admire, Lauren Balonis, Jordan Taylor, Alexis Moss and Mason Hays; and his sisters, Madeline Teague and Barbara Jones. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
