He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Heid and Margaret Heid (James). He is survived by: his wife Sherry Heid; his children, Brian and Nikki; his former wife Elizabeth Secrest; his sons, Michael, Scott and Jason; and his brother John Heid (Denise) of Ohio.
