He is survived by: his mother Jennette Briggs of Fort Worth, Texas; his daughter Tara Elrod (Justin) of Azle; his grandchildren, Kylee, Austin, Preston, Skyler and Kinley; his siblings, Brenda Schimpf (Rex) of Arlington Texas and Randy Briggs (Michele) of Reno Texas; and his cousin Leslie Briggs of Oklahoma. He is also survived by son, daughter-in-law and grandchildren.
