Marian Vandergriff Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marian Vandergriff (Azle, Texas), who passed away on December 18, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Kate Spann and William "Bill" Eli Donnell; her former husbands, Ernest Cherry and Johnnie Vandergriff; and her siblings, Katherine Webb Kramer, Geraldine Raper, Pauline Owens, Naomi Hearell Stewart and Charles Donnell.
She is survived by: her daughters, Janet Byars (Mark) of Azle and Elizabeth Wagstaff (Robert) of Abilene; her grandchildren, Cole Byars (Brittany) of Bella Vista, Kate Verhulst (Otto) of Fort Worth, Dr. Rachel Warner (Alex) of Dallas, Caroline Wagstaff of Denver and John Miles Wagstaff of Abilene; her great grandchildren, Margretta and Jack Warner; her siblings, Jane Stevenson (Gene) and Tom Donnell (Regina); and her niece Lauren Stevenson. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, her caregivers, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ash Creek Baptist Church (300 S Stewart St, Azle, TX 76020). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 at the Ash Creek Cemetery South Stewart.
