He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Clay Nichols and Reva Mae Nichols; his brother Donnie Lee Nichols; and his brother-in-law Don Sharp. He is survived by: his daughter Rebekah Barron; his son-in-law Michael Barron; his son Johnny Nichols Jr; his daughter-in-law Mandi Nichols; his grandchildren, Sarah Barron, Stephen Barron, Zane Barron, Martin Barron, Dillon Nichols, Cailin Nichols, Kylie Nichols and Avery Nichols; his great grandchildren, Stetson Barron, Marshall Barron and Jolena Barron; his sisters, Barbara Sharp and Billie Worthey; and his brother-in-law Neal Worthey.
