He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Henry Wallace, Sr. and Bette Heard Wallace. He is survived by: his wife Liz Wallace; and his brother Samuel Glenn Wallace (Linda Garrett Wallace) of Ruston. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Before his death, Joe Henry requested that any memorials be made to the Bette Heard Wallace Endowment Fund at the Louisiana Tech University Alumni Foundation in Ruston, Louisiana or the DFW Cocker Spaniel Rescue in Dallas/Fort Worth.
