He was predeceased by: his mother Zeno Hand; his grandparents, Tom and Emma Willis; and his sister-in-law Mary Sue Smith. He is survived by: his brothers, Gilbert Smith and Walter Hand (Trisha); and his cousins, Robbie Rushing, Sandra McVeigh, Marlene Miller and Sheila Miller. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
