He is survived by: his wife Carol Paetz; his sons, Houston Carl Roberts and Kevin Joseph Roberts; his grandchildren, Joshua Garza, Aubrie Guerrero, Edward Olivas, Paige Claire Roberts, Shannon Roberts, Barbara Roberts and Emilie Roberts; his great grandchildren, Michelle Garza, Joshua R. Garza, Sawyer Garza and Sophia Guerrero; and his siblings, Ronnie Roberts (Becky) and Mary Tinkle (Kenneth).
