He was predeceased by: his parents, John Zipper and Eva Zipper; his wife Myrtle F. Zipper; his daughter Thelma M. Eurek; and his sisters, Flo Campbell and Clarene Morrison.
He is survived by: his children, Frances L. John, Michael J. Zipper and Albert D. Zipper (Lupe Zipper); and his sisters-in-law, Recie Zipper, Rosie Fuson, Thelma Nalley, Velma Rose Walker and Earlene Foster (James). He is also survived by ten grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren.
