She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Collins and Gladys Collins; her husband James "Jim" Abshire; her son James Edward Abshire, Jr.; and her brothers, C. W., Horace and Bobby Collins.
She is survived by: her close friend Maurine; her children, Tommy Abshire of Little Rock, Vickie Domyanic (Mike) of Saginaw and Gary Abshire of Azle; and her grandchildren, Mindy Brooks (Jim) of Point Venture, Chris Domyanic (Jessica) of Bowie, Linda Domyanic of Dallas, GySgt Jake Domyanic (Christine) of Camp Pendleton, California, Chris Giddens (Stephanie) of Austin and Allison Lawrence (Steven) of Saginaw. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren, and friends.
