It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elizabeth J Shay (Azle, Texas), born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on December 21, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Sam Allcorn; and her sons, Michael Shay and William Shay. She is survived by: her former husband Patrick Shay; her daughter Patricia Shay Wells (Michael); and her grandchildren, Mary, Erin Wells, Wendy Shay, Michelle Landry, Billy Shay and Brian Maynard. She is also survived by her ten great- grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
She survived Polio as a teenager and Covid-19 while always maintaining a positive outlook on life.
In lieu of flowers be makes donations to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
