She was predeceased by: her former husband Edward Franklin Linehan; her parents, Joseph M Garrett and Esther Cobb Garrett Polk; her stepfather A. B. Polk; and her siblings, Joseph, Tommy, George, Gary, Alice, Margaret, Rose and Judy.
She is survived by: her husband Gordon Eugene Jernigan; her children, Donna, Jan and Curtis; and her siblings, Glen and Virginia. She is also survived by her numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Mission House at Castle Hills Baptist Church.
