It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Deen Matheny (Azle, Texas), who passed away on January 18, 2022, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Charles "Chuck" Donald Matheny; his wife Brenda; and his son Jason Matheny. He is survived by: his mother Shirley Anne Darnell; and his children, Kimberly Matheny (Jose Cedeno), Tanya Souther (Sam), Jeremy Matheny (Tiffany), Christine Matheny and Matthew Matheny (Erica). He is also survived by twenty-two grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
