With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Suzette T. McDowell (Axtell, Texas), born in Arnaudville, Louisiana, who passed away on March 16, 2021 at the age of 74. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Suzette T. McDowell to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis LaStrapes and Suzanne LaStrapes; her husband Joseph McDowell, Sr.; her son Christopher McDowell; and her siblings, Myra Massey, Jaqueline LaStrapes and Faye Ankenbruck.
She is survived by: her sons, Kirby McDowell (Christina) of Cincinnati and Joseph McDowell, Jr. (Karen) of Gilford; and her brothers, Charles LaStrapes (Verna) of Mart and Jude Patrick LaStrapes (Noleen) of Houston. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
