He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolf Baugh and Dora Baugh (Crossland); his siblings, Varena, Hoppy, Helen, Jimmy and Lawrence; and his son Mitch Baugh (Sandy).
He is survived by: his wife Diann "Dee" Baugh; and his children, Lawrence "Bubba" Baugh (Renie) of New Caney, TX, Donald Baugh (Linda) of Stephens, AR, Connally Baugh (Chrysti) of Axtell, TX, Melvin Baugh Jr. (Janet) of Spring Branch, TX, Gaylynn Baker (Bobby) of Axtell, TX, Tracy Toten (Roy) of Axtell, TX and Gwendolyn Johnston (Jerry) of Lorena, TX. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
