It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jake Kimsey of Axtell, Texas, born in Bayou Meto, Arkansas, who passed away on November 13, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Percy Irving Kimsey and Martha Ada Douglas; and his wife Lillian Fraizer Kimsey. He is survived by: his children, Jim Thornhill (Rosie), Harold Thornhill (Ofelia), Ted Kimsey, Jay T. Kimsey (Christine), Eileen Armstrong (Joe) and Theresa Kimsey McHargue; the mother of his children Elberta Bieler Kimsey Dehl; and his sister Evelyn Almon. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, friends.
