He is survived by: his wife Carmelitta Faulkenberry; his children, Christina Steele (Don), Carl Ferguson (Kelly), Carolyn Barnard (Mike), Connie Morrow (Terry) and Charles Ferguson (Rachel); and his siblings, Jearl Ferguson, Johnny Ferguson, Joner Ferguson, Betty Tabor, Josie Lanford and Bobbie McCormick. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
He was very respected in the gamefowl community and recognized by the association for his sportsmanship and contribution to the promotion of the gamefowl breed.
