She was predeceased by: her parents, Elijuh Jones and Helen Phay Jones; her husband Lloyd Shelton; and her children, Steven Tharp, David Buchanan, Charles Buchanan and Sharon Cochran.
She is survived by: her children, Shirley Benoy, Christine Hudson, Billy Buchanan, Paul Buchanan and Robert Shelton (Esther); and her siblings, William Jones, Laura Hudson and Virgie Wells. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
