It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald Joe Garrett of Avinger, Texas, born in Gilmer, Texas, who passed away on December 22, 2021, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Truman Garrett and Sybil Mae Barber Garrett; and his siblings, Saundra Garrett, Linda Clifton and David Garrett.
He is survived by: his wife Gail Garrett of Avinger; his sons, Geoffrey Garrett of Dallas, Michael Agan (Crissy) of Elkhart and Anthony Agan of Mt. Pleasant; his siblings, Gregory Garrett (Vicki) of Gilmer, Jerry Garrett (Linda) of Paris, Nancy Koons of Forney, Juanita Patterson (Coy) of Wylie, Anetta Garrett of Paris and Paula Hathcoat of Lake; his grandchildren, Andre Agan, Lane Agan, Mikey Agan, Gracie Agan, Jayden Cameron, Ethan Agan and Samantha Agan; and his great grandchild Cutter Agan. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
