It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peggy Bishop of Avinger, Texas, born in Florence, South Carolina, who passed away on August 15, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Homer; her parents, John McNair Weaver and Maude Edith Evans Weaver; and her siblings, Mary Scott, Ponnie Bailey, Mac, Bill, John and Paul Weaver.
She is survived by: her children, Cathy Webb of Waco, Susan (Ronald Sloan), Terri Medrano of Hallsville and Steve; her daughter-in-law Rita Bishop of Hughes Springs; and her brother Robin Weaver. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren.
