It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Earnestine Wardlaw of Avinger, Texas, born in Texarkana, Texas, who passed away on August 29, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Earnest Franklin O'Farrell and Gertrude Lamae Parker O'Farrell; and her sons, Roy Burt Wardlaw and Charles Edward Wardlaw. She is survived by: her husband James Terrell Wardlaw, Sr.; her children, James Terrell Wardlaw, Jr., Sue Lamon (Art) and Cindy Wardlaw; and her grandchildren, Brian Phelps and Carmen Phelps. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
