With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lillie Belle Gilmore of Avinger, Texas, born in Hughes Springs, Texas, who passed away on March 17, 2022 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Edward Oscar Gilmore; her parents, Fannie Evalina Sturdivant Brown and John Harrison Brown; her sons, William Gilmore (Gloria) of Hughes Springs and Kenneth Gilmore of Avinger; and her sister Mary Lemoine of Vineland.
She is survived by: her daughter Doris Gauer of Waco, Texas; her grandchildren, Vicki Brown (Bill Brown) of Longview, David Barton (Cheryl Barton) of Forney, Keri Lynn (Kenneth Rieger-Reece) of Hallsville, Shannon (Scott Day) of Stanton, Benny Joe Gauer, Jr. (Tracy) of Waco, Texas, Sonya Gauer of Waco, Texas and Samuel Gauer (Monica) of Waco, Texas; and her great grandchildren, Victor Martinez, Erik Martinez, Luke Martinez, Ivan Martinez, Alexander Gauer, Brayden Gauer, JC Rieger and Jacob Day. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Heritage Hospice or Golden Villa Nursing Home.
